This website was designed by Richard and Bernadette Fairbairn on the 11th June 2004 to commemorate the life of our much beloved son Laddie, who went to sleep on the 10th June 2004 after a long and brave battle against megaoesophagus and pneumonia.

We loved our Laddie Fairbairn so much that we wanted to make sure that he would be remembered, always, and that his courageous struggle would touch and inspire others who visit his website.

We had Laddie for nearly seven years and during that time he taught us many things and through him we experienced the highs and lows of having a seriously ill dog. We hope that this website will be of some help to any owners who have lost their dogs, owners who have sick dogs and owners who want to rejoice in their life.
