Audio Described Cinema Heard any good movies lately?
This is a really great resource for all movie lovers out there in the United Kingdom. Cinema audio description is having the action described to you, as commentators do when you hear a Cricket match or Rugby match on the radio - but with much less extra and unnecessary information. You might have come across the nature programmes in the early hours on BBC, where the narration is still there but it is interspersed with a secondary commentary that neatly and unobtrusively describes the actual events taking place on the screen.
