26th February 2008 Dad Seriously IllMy father is quite ill right now and is in the High Dependency Unit of our local hospital. He’s a strong man, but age and multiple issues are working against him. As you can imagine, this is dominating my life at present. If you’re interested you can find out more by following the link below. Dad suffers from end stage renal failure and has had a mild heart attack. His situation is complicated by the fact that he contracted MRSA from his catheter when he had his first dialysis session. There are a lot of emotional and family issues involved here for me personally, but I will try to be objective when writing about dad’s situation. I would hope that the information I impart here may be of benefit to any other persons in similar circumstances.
